What is Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)?

MFA protects your account by requiring a second layer of authentication to gain access to Ogilvy- protected applications.

When you sign-in to Ogilvy-protected applications, you will need to enter your Ogilvy credentials and a security code that will be sent to you via SMS or Microsoft’s authenticator app.
Note: The code changes every 30 seconds and it is uniquely crafted for your account.

Will this be required every time an Ogilvy-protected application is accessed?

Once logged in to an Ogilvy-protected application, you may choose to temporarily (up to 30 days at a time) opt out of the code requirement on the device currently being used. It is important to only opt out of the code requirement for machines you personally own or have been issued to you by the company.
Note: You will always be required to enter your password when accessing Ogilvy-protected applications.

How is Multi-Factor Authentication set-up?

  1. Install the free Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device. (Android | IOS)
  2. Navigate to your profile within profiler.ogilvy.com.
  3. Open the drop-down menu located top-right of your profile picture and select Manage Multi-Factor Authentication Settings.
  4. Click Configure on the 'Authenticator App' line to expand.
  5. Follow the instructions to configure.
  6. After scanning the QR Barcode, enter the code generated by the Microsoft Authenticator App and click VERIFY to verify and save.

The next time you log in to any Ogilvy-protected application you will be required to enter the code that appears within the Microsoft Authenticator application.
